I have consumed so much within this past month. I have been a sponge. I think of the texture of my brain and have made it conform to the absorbency of my mind. I have committed myself to learning about nothing. No-thing. That’s the key. Material things. The tangible. Why is it here? What is everything?… Mass quantities.
Commodities—- We are all commodities if we do not lend ourselves to learning about each other.
I saw the Dalai Lama speak in San Diego a couple weeks ago. I knew exactly what to expect. I have seen his talks online before and I knew I was paying for a classroom lesson: a reminder of the good virtues we are all told to develop as we grow and meet others. His words bring up all of these lessons. The wisdom for happiness has been instilled in us many ways, but we are born into a material world, and that throws us off a good-natured balance in life.
Pause.
And listen.
Take in everything.
Question yourself.
